It is truly an honour to be part of India’s largest educational institution D.A.V. The name DAV itself has the identity about the qualitative education and holistic development of child for last 131 years. The DAV do have more than 1,000 educational institutions, about 60,000 teaching fraternity, more than 20,00,000 learners, spread throughout the country and abroad also.
Educational institutions include Schools, Management Colleges, Medical Colleges, Degree Colleges and so on under the effective and efficient guidance of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. The vision and mission of DAV institutions are to carry out the light of education to rural areas, women empowerment and development of students in all respect with inculcating moral values and ethics inspired by Vedic Culture.
Our school D.A.V Public School IGIMS Campus, Sheikhpura, Patna is situated at the heart of capital of Bihar-Patna, in the campus of Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS). It has a history of almost 20 glorious years successful story with it. The school is a place where students want to learn in learning environment and have fun in the greeneries of the campus. Students are being provided with essentials need for proper growth for success in a safe and warm environment. My message to all stake holders, especially parents is to stay involved. This can be accomplished by staying in contact with your ward’s teacher. Our expectation will be consistently make sure to aware you with your child’s progress in scholastic and co-scholastic, to be an ideal social being with having high moral values. As DAV believes to get success, character building also plays a very vital role. I feel fortunate and blessed to be in this leadership role and welcome it every day with open arms.
